Barnet LGBTI is a society of men and women of all ages over 18. We welcome those who identify as, or support, any part of the LGBTI community. We meet as a social group for a pint or glass of choice in a pub because it is a social centre, busy and welcoming. The Black Horse is our local.

  

Formed in High Barnet circa 1980 - the society has varied in membership numbers but has always maintained a presence - whether in The Olde Mitre, the Old Bull, the George, or many other pubs and Barnet meeting rooms - some no longer open.

 

Barnet is the Central town for gay people who are Lesbian, Gay men, Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersex - whether from Barnet, North London generally, Totteridge, Finchley, Whetstone, Edgware, Stanmore, Enfield, Potters Bar, Southgate, Elstree, Borehamwood, Hendon, Mill Hill, and South Hertfordshire. 

 

The number of gay people living in this area is enormous and we are the local GAY GROUP for everyone including friends.

 

A continued presence via email membership facilitates regular meets at this venue or anywhere, welcoming new people, sharing ideas, arranging visits, holding BBQs etc in Barnet and nearby. Our Members set our programme so please register and influence what we do.

 

We welcome new members of all ages over 18 including students - at any time of the year. Former friends and members are also welcomed back.
